The ZHILIFS Story

It started with yarn.

Our family has worked in knitting yarn for decades — sourcing and supplying the raw material long before we ever made a garment. In 2004, we took the natural next step: we built our own workshop and began turning that yarn into finished knitwear. Two decades later, we still do one thing, and we do it properly — sweaters, and above all, fine knitwear for the cooler months.

Because we come from the yarn side of the trade, we understand knitwear from the inside out. We know how a fibre should feel in the hand, how it should be twisted and tensioned, how a sweater should drape and hold its shape. That knowledge shows up quietly — in the softness against your skin, in a collar that stays true wash after wash, in a piece that still feels right years after you bought it.

Everything is made in our own workshop, where precision knitting is paired with hand-finishing on the steps that matter — linking the collar, closing the seams, checking each garment before it leaves us. We make fewer styles and make them well: quiet, classic pieces designed to last, not to chase a season.
